Research Question: Does the use of a helmet reduce the injury severity when compare to no helmet usage among mototaxi riders in Douala?.

Aim: Investigate the relationship between helmet usage and the severity of injuries among moto taxi riders in Douala, Cameroon.

Specific Objectives:
1. determine the proportion of mototaxis riders who uses helmet in Douala, Cameroon
2. Determine the injury severity following RTA among mototaxis riders in Douala, Cameroon
3. Examine correlation between helmet usage and severity of injuries among moto taxi riders in Douala, cameroon.

Hypothesis:
Null: there is no correlation between helmet usage and the severity of injuries among moto taxi riders in Douala, Cameroon.
Alternate: there is a significant correlation between helmet usage and the severity of injuries among moto taxi riders in Douala, Cameroon.
